Place to stay, study and cowork
A unique advantage of the Loyola campus is our boarding school.
Children from the whole area of Kosovo as well as those from neighboring countries should have the possibility of attending our school. We give particular attention to encouraging girls. We have two separate dormitories, one for girls and one for boys, with a capacity of up to 200 students. The dormitories are fully furnished and thus equipped with the necessary equipment for accommodation.
The characteristic feature of the dormitory work is the safety of the students, where they are accompanied and cared for by educators.
Living in a community has many advantages, because there you have the opportunity to learn together, build relationships with others and work on the skills of self-reflection in a team.
Loyola Boarding School is a great place where students can develop and shape their independence and self-reliance in life within the community.
Why Should You Choose A Student Dorm?
Let’s make friends!
It’s easier to make friends when everyone lives in student accomodation. Everyone will be nervous, excited and ready to mingle at the start of the year, so by living in a student dorm, you can take advantage of the friendly atmosphere and make some close bonds. Also its easier if you want to make friends from all over the world because we have exchange program in our school!
Convenience of student accomodation
Apart from getting more opportunities to make friends, living in a student dorm can also be useful when it comes to studying. Still up at 3am and need to speak to someone about tomorrow’s exam! Need a particular book that you couldn’t find at the library? Post a note on the notice board to see if anyone in your dorm has a copy.
Distance to classes
Living in a student dorm means you can set your alarm later in the mornings, as student accommodation is located at Loyola-Campus. You have classes and facilities right in the same building or group of buildings (you should probably still get changed out of your pyjamas though...). You just have to take a bath, eat in Mensa and be ready for classes.
Increased independence
Living alone or with a roommate is very different from living at home. Many of us, including myself, grew up not having to do too many household chores, repairs or paying bills. So if your choice is between staying at home or student dorms, the latter is a good opportunity to learn how to be less dependent on your family, without being completely out there on your own!

Dormitory Director's Welcome
Unë jam Arianit Çollaku i lindur dhe rritur në Prizren jam i martuar dhe kam dy fëmijë. Kam përfunduar fakulltetin e historisë në Prishtinë. Tërë jetën time ja kam kushtuar sportit dhe punës.
Në projektin Loyola jam i përfshirë që nga viti 2008, fillimisht kam punuar edukatorë, pas pesë viteve kamë kaluar edhe udhëheqës i konviktit.
Prioritetet më të mëdha në jetën time janë: familja dhe puna.
Angazhimi im në konvikt më jep një kënaqësi të veçantë. Edukimin e nxënësve e ndjejë përgjegjësi morale.
Sakrificën për të hedhur hapa të sigurt drejtë së ardhmes nuk e llogaris fare.
Normalisht punën më të lehtë ma bënë mbështetja e stafit edukativ të cilët janë gjithmonë të gatshëm për çdo lloj bashkëpunimi. Suksesi i punës në konvikt burimin kryesorë e ka tek besimi i prindërve që kanë tek ne për mbështetje dhe edukimin e nxënësve. Formimin e personalitetit dhe autoritetit edukativ.
Me më shumë kënaqësi i pranoj kritikat sesa lëvdatat, kritikat na mbajnë gjithmonë aktiv dhe na japin mundësi përmirësimi, ndërsa lëvdatat na pasivizojnë.
